USGBC cannot guarantee that an appropriate representative will be available for your event. Following receipt of your request form, we will typically respond in 10-20 business days.

Certification Ceremonies
When your project has been awarded LEED certification, a USGBC representative can attend to present the plaque. In the event that a member of our management team is unavailable to attend, we will reach out to the local chapter executive board to fulfill the request.
Events in and around Washington, D.C.
Please fill out a general speaker request form and indicate which USGBC representative you would like to have speak. In some instances, we will pass along your request to our National Capital Region Chapter.
Events located outside of Metropolitan Washington, D.C.
In order to reduce carbon emissions, we try whenever possible to arrange for a local speaker to attend each event. To find a local USGBC representative, please contact your local chapter and they will be happy to assist you.
When we are able to provide a representative from our national headquarters to speak at a non-local event, you should expect to pay all travel expenses for the speaker. These expenses will be explained upfront and may vary.
Online Events
USGBC is happy to participate in online Webinars, presentations, or forums. Please fill out a general speaker request form with your preferred speaker and we will route your request appropriately.
